The glorious England team take on Sweden this Saturday 7th July 2018 and the kick-off is at 3pm. As usual we will be showing this match on our bar's drop-down screen with sound discretely low - unless we're winning!
Please take note that from 1st July, we will once again be open on Sunday evenings. So please book up early as this has always been a very popular time to round off the weekend in style!
One of our great assets is the sizeable car park just past the pub, next door to the cricket field and pavilion. We encourage all customers to use this rather than parking on the street, to ease any possible congestion in the village.

et in the picturesque village of Burpham
in the South Downs National Park, just over two miles from Arundel, The George at Burpham is a traditional 17th century country pub which has been providing warm hospitality and refreshment to villagers and visitors alike for over three hundred years.
Now locally owned and refurbished, the pub aims to live up to the ambition . . "By the locals, for the locals, of the locals - and a very warm welcome to everyone" . . including muddy-booted walkers & well-behaved dogs!
