Some tables are for catching up. Others are for raising a glass, thanking the team or bringing the whole family together.
Whatever brings you together this festive season, pull up a chair and settle in for a relaxed lunch or dinner, with seasonal festive food, a warm welcome and nowhere else you need to be.
Available from Monday to Saturday, from 30 November to 23 December.

Details
Three courses are £52.50 per person, including tea or coffee and a mince pie. We can welcome groups of up to 22 guests.
A £10 per person deposit is required to secure your booking.
Menu choices must be submitted 14 days before your visit.
A Table Full of Christmas
Winter greenery, busy hands and conversation flowing around the table. Our wreath and garland workshops offer a little time to slow down, get creative and make something beautiful for your home.

Christmas Wreath Workshops

Twist, tie and trim your way to a beautiful Christmas wreath, with mulled wine in hand and good company around the table.
All materials are included, with charcuterie and mulled wine served during a halfway break before you return to finish your wreath and take it home.

Christmas Garland Workshop

Allow a few hours
Spend a festive morning creating your own seasonal garland, filled with natural texture, lush greenery and Christmas character.
All materials are included, with a pastry and hot drink served during a halfway break before you return to finish your garland and take it home.
£65 per person · 8 spaces
Workshop cancellation policy: Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable.

Christmas Lights and Carols
Tuesday, 1 December, From 6.30pm
Wrap up warm and join us as we light the Christmas tree and fill The George at Burpham with carols, community and festive cheer.
With the George Singers and a brass quartet.
No booking required unless you would like to dine.

Boxing Day Celebrations
Saturday 26 December

Food served from 12pm-5pm
Boxing Day has a rhythm all its own in Burpham. Join us for traditional Morris dancing with the Sompting Village Morris Dancers and Tipteerers. No bookings required unless you'd like to dine.
Come for the dancing, stay for a drink and enjoy one more reason to gather between Christmas and New Year.

New Year’s Eve

One last evening together before the year is through. Join us for Country Tweed: Farm & Field as we say goodbye to 2026 and raise a glass to everything the New Year might bring.
