We’re absolutely thrilled to share some brilliant news: The George at Burpham has been named No. 35 in The Good Food Guide’s 100 Best Pubs 2025.
This is a huge accolade and being only one of two pubs in Sussex to receive this is a real pinch-me moment for our little country pub. The Good Food Guide celebrates Britain’s greatest pubs for what they are — Traditional pubs serving traditional, outstanding pub food accompanied by real ale. To be recognised among them is a true honour.
From everyone here, a massive thank you to all who voted for us and to our incredible team for their care, craft, and commitment to offering exceptional service and food to every guest who walks through our door.
And a huge well done to every pub who made the Top 100 list and being a part of keeping the pub community alive.
